Ashtanga Power Hour
Ashtanga yoga is a flowing practice in which the postures are linked together with vinyasa's (breath). Rob’s ashtanga power hour is based on the ashtanga primary series but provides as faster pace and fun practice. Ashtanga experience highly encouraged
Athletic
A non-traditional yoga practice developed by co-owner and international presenter Helen Vanderburg to help enhance athletic performance by balancing all muscle groups in the body through strength and flexibility development.
Core
A practice that will offer an extra challenge to the core and the surrounding muscles. This class will offer a strong and dynamic practice. Multi-level
Flow
A non-traditional practice with a flowing series of yoga postures linked together by breath. Class will include elements of ashtanga and hatha practices. Multi-level
Groove
A fun, multi-level ashtanga/power yoga class set to the sounds of Hip Hop, Funk, R&B and Soul music. Get ready to get your yoga groove on!
Hot
Heavens' signature yoga class designed by our hot yoga instructors. A non-traditional practice done in the same sequence each class in a 36º-38º heated room. For safety Heavens chooses to keep our heat a little lower offering stronger sequence of exercises. Multi-level
Themes
Flow based yoga class that emphasizes a different theme each week. Themes may include hip openers, standing postures, backbends and neck and shoulder release. Mutli-level
Twoonie
Calgary’s original charity yoga class – since September 2002 – developed by Alan Mileham. Multi-level ashtanga/power yoga class. A great beginner class!
LIMITED TO 60 PEOPLE
Yin Yang
Yin yang yoga is a practice of a balance between the yin (slow and sustained stretching) and yang (faster paced, strong and warming) to allow a deeper practice. The room will be warmed but not hot.
PILATES
A method of physical exercises that will increase muscular strength and endurance as well as flexibility training.
Pilates Infused Core
Designed by co-owner and international presenter Helen Vanderburg. Movements and principles from Pilates with traditional core strengthening exercises for a challenging and complete core workout. Each week offers a equipment prop theme may include small balls, ballast balls or gliding discs. Pilates experience recommended.
FUSION
This signature Heavens class is the perfect blend of yoga, pilates and fitness. Designed by co-owner and international presenter Helen Vanderburg

The perfect blend of yoga, pilates and fitness to increase flexibility, balance and strength while experimenting with mindful movements. Multi-level and a prefect place to begin or strengthen your mind-body journey
